Fablab (fabrication laboratory) is a laboratory, a modern studio in which innovative ideas take on real shape.
The first fablab was created in 2001 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Today, these laboratories operate around the world, and FabLab powered by Orange is the first such place in Warsaw.
We have created an interactive educational installation about the history of technological inventions and the greatest inventors of modern times for The Orange Foundation at the FabLab powered by Orange.
Thanks to the application presenting Fablab’s workshops guests can learn about the premises and structure of the place. Mechatronic application “the wheel of fortune” presents the greatest inventors – such as Leonardo da Vinci, Nikola Tesla, Elon Musk and more. On the monitor connected to a RFID reader, the stories of unusual inventions, whose models were printed on 3D printers, are approximated.
