Application “find Wally” is designed for two 42″ touch screens. The image on the monitor represents the bustling medieval market. The image is in fact a carefully composited collage consisted of several dozen fragments of medieval paintings by such masters as Pieter Bruegel the Elder, Jan Van Eyck, brothers Limburg, Enguerrand Quarton, Giotto, Jean Fouquet or Matteo Giovanetti. The application has two modes of operation. In the first mode, the user can touch a dozen active elements of the board and learn more about the details of the composition. In the second mode, users search of categorized items, such as angels, devils, animals or musicians.
